This lock is the opposite of all the other locks in the school, and stands out. In this photo the exit sign is pointed in one direction while Dom is pointing in the other. There are three opposite things in this picture, first there is the opposite colours, the hands are also pointing in opposite directions, and lastly the hand prints are of opposite hands. Artist statement: During this process I walked around the school looking for opposites, and only found a few. The opposite photos I took are from the brainstorming I did before I went out to take the photos. After I took the photo I used Photoshop to make sure that the opposites stood out and caught ones attention.

Sight- bright daylight and fallen leaves Touch- hard, rough, texture of the leaf Sound- the light sound of the leaf landing into the puddle of rain water Movement- A leaf falling mid-air off of a tree Smell- the fresh scent of rain water on the rough ground Taste- the taste of a cup of hot chocolate during the cold fall weather
Peter Lik is a self taught landscape photographer. He travels around the world capturing striking colours and creates larger than life pieces. He is 57 years old, born and raised Australian. He also hosted his own show for 1 month on the weather channel. This photograph of Peter's shows the vastness of the ocean, which is a very powerful component in the picture. The bright blue colour makes the ocean seem very clear. This photograph shows the great lengths of the Great Wall of China, with the epic sunset shining down on it. The warm orange tone makes the photo even more epic. The striking blue and red colours in this overview of NYC is very inspiring. To conclude, his choice of colours are very striking and are extremely inspiring for me.
Artist statement: I took pictures of food that are typical lunches of students. During this process I walked around the school and discovered many foods within school grounds. After I took the photos, some Photoshop was required to make the food more appealing and dramatic.
These pictures are all activities I enjoy. They are all in a darker theme with a few warm colours. The colour mixture in this collage feels very comfortable for me, and is extremely satisfying. These images all represent myself.
